Hi, y'all! Today was my first day at the new job...orientation that never ends here I come! The positive is that there is Starbucks (and Central Market!) across the street!! Plus, the grounds are pretty...spread over 80 acres! lol Sorry I haven't responded to the comments...I've been busy unpacking still. *HUGS*

The Buddy Holly Story made in 1978. I love Buddy Holly's music and story. When I lived in Lubbock, I visited his museum and brought all three of my family members to see it. :o) And I bought this children's book, Buddy! :o) I thought this article was interesting, too!

for receiving a runner up award at Love's Last Glimpse Awards! Thank you so much!!! :o) It's a Buffy POV that I wrote right after "Beneath You," and it's the sequel to "Soul Fashion." I didn't even know I was nominated!!! CONGRATS to all the other winners!!!

Got this quote from someone who was complaining about Buffy books on Whedonesque...
The other problem I've had is the dialogue. It just seems like noone can write the character dialogue where I'm not left thinking "This is not what the character would say." That is the ultimate deal breaker for me. The characters I've read are not the ones I fell in love with.

How do you decide what the characters could/would say in your fanfics? I know not every relationship is canon in fanfic, so how do you know how they might react in a relationship...like say Spike/Willow or Xander/Gunn or Buffy/Giles? Or do you even worry about that quite as much as other elements of the story? How do you find the balance?

Just curious about the writing process...
